Welcome to ProTools  Built by the Trade, for the Trade.

ProTools was born out of frustration the kind that only comes from lived experience.

Our founder Matt started out as a labourer, worked his way through an apprenticeship, built his own construction company, and went on to employ and mentor his own apprentices. Over 15 years in the industry, he's done every role there is  from the bottom rung to running the show.

As an apprentice, the reality was simple: good tools cost money that most trainees just don't have. So you buy the cheap stuff. And the cheap stuff breaks, performs poorly, and ultimately makes your work harder and your reputation suffer. It's a frustrating cycle that holds apprentices back before they've even found their feet.

Then, as a business owner taking on apprentices of his own, Matt saw the same problem from the other side. Apprentices showing up without the right gear, constantly borrowing tools, and creating real cost and disruption on the job site. There was no good solution — until ProTools.
